Hello! I'll be taking a look at this article for the January 2022 GAN backlog drive. If you haven't already signed up, please feel free to join in! Although QPQ is not required, if you're feeling generous, I also have a list of GA nominations of my own right here.

Infobox and lede
edit- Considering the "artwork" label already disambiguates this from other things titled "Comedian", I think the hatnote can be removed
Background and description
edit- Me being very nitpicky: Cattelan's full name and his Italian nationality should be mentioned here to gel with the lede
- "duct tape" should be linked and not hyphenated, in accordance with the lede and our WL
- Spell out the FIAC acronym
- Shouldn't necessarily say "the" bananas before we know (excluding the lede) that the piece involves bananas
- Actually, when you read it over, nowhere her does it outright say that the piece is a banana duct-taped to the wall, only implied
Reception
edit- I noticed "Comedian" is not italicized in the Charney quote; I assume it also is not in the book?
- Done That is correct, it is not italicized in the book. --Kbabej (talk) 15:52, 11 January 2022 (UTC)
- The resemblance to Warhol looks as if it belongs more in the background and description section, since it's less a value judgment and more an observation
Purchases
edit- "swap" → "trade"
Intervention
edit- "ate the piece, calling the intervention Hungry Artist." → "ate the piece in an intervention he called Hungry Artist."
Interpretations
edit- Good
Removal
edit- The first sentence runs a little long and can probably be split into two
References
edit- Inconsistent use of "ArtNet" vs. "Art Net" vs. "Artnet News" throughout
- Similarly inconsistent use of "The Art Newspaper" vs. "The Art Newspaper" vs "www.theartnewspaper.com"
- USA Today should be in the work parameter, not publisher
- Same with Page Six, Miami Herald, GQ, Times of Israel, Eater, Vogue, and Rolling Stone
- [21] and [29] are missing a work/publisher
General comments
edit- Images are properly licensed and relevant
- No stability concerns in the revision history
- Earwig score looks a little high, but the "source" looks like backwards vio
