clearplay vs hd-disk

Clearplay does fine with dvds, but some people are getting stuff like blu-ray and hd-dvd instead. What format will clearplay use in the future? Will it use both? will security be an issue? will it combo with dvd?

Any Similar for Computers?

Has anyone heard of something similar for the computer? 2,000 titles might sound like a lot, but unless you are only into high profit Hollywood new releases, you are most likely SOL. I did a search for my top 5 favorite movies and only "Fight Club" showed up. Also, I would like to be able to edit my own filters, go through some movies and pick out what I might feel is inappropriate for a particular audience, rather than let someone else decide that for me. There are a ton of really good movies that I feel people should watch, but could easily have been done with out some of the words or maybe that sex scene. Does "you" belong in an encyclopedia?

I noticed that the article uses "you" quite a bit in the "how it works" paragraph. Maybe it shouldn't. It just does not very encyclopedic to me. Rengaw01 (talk) 13:20, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

Copying issues

Why is TVguardian's website linked to in the References section? If they had a Wiki page, I could see linking to that, but even so that's a bit sketchy. I'm going to remove it unless someone has an objection Sushilover boy (talk) 15:58, 16 October 2012 (UTC)

This article reads like a Press release

This article reads like a press release. Statements like-The ClearPlay company is adapting its technology to sources beyond DVD, sound like they were written by the company. Also I am removing dead links in this article.--BeckiGreen (talk) 19:52, 19 January 2013 (UTC)

Copyright Problem.

There seems to be a copyright problem that I accidently walked into the middle of. The current opening line in the "How it works" section is not sourced correctly. This is because when I used the last correctly sourced version from the backlog it made me suspicious that it was copywritten for some reason. I googled the sentence and I found it listed here at something called The "Edited movie encyclapedia" While it could be that the site is copying Wikipedia, the weird wording and tone suspects that there's something more going on here. --Deathawk (talk) 13:03, 18 February 2016 (UTC)
