One of 40 Saint adventures which were published in French and Dutch but not in English. They were constructed in a similar way to the latter day English collaborations in so much as they used the Charteris written NYH-T comic strip, or the non-Charteris written radio shows, as the basis for the book;they were written up by a collaborator and then polished by Charteris.--Hoppy Uniatz 06:51, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

I've been thinking of adding a list of the non-English adventures to the Simon Templar article but it would probably result in the booklist being spun-off into its own article (and such lists often get AFD'd). A pun my word

My son just noticed something I never did, in all the years I've read The Saint: Claud's name could be misheard as "Claud Used To Steal". In all the stories I ever read, though, I have never seen so much as a hint that Teal was a reformed criminal himself (and it's hardly possible he could have become a senior police officer if he were...) Might have been more fitting if, instead of Simon Templar, the titular anti-hero had been Simon Eustace Teal... (As well as the somewhat more apt play on words, his initials could have been expressed as "ST" (Saint) or "SET" (Egyptian deity of, among other things, disorder).)
