Relationship between other class articles
editI would try to conceptualise the `class` Wikipedia articles as : Class (knowledge representation) uses Class (set theory); and Class (computer science) implements Class (knowledge representation). Does that seem reasonable? John Vandenberg (chat) 23:35, 23 July 2015 (UTC)
Merge Proposal
editCould we merge Class (philosophy) with this article? They describe the same things and the other article barely has references. @TomT0m @Fgnievinski @Bruceanthro @Phrygas Lectrician1 (talk) 19:35, 9 January 2024 (UTC)
- The article Class (philosophy) contains important flaws - it does not adequately distinguish class, type, set, kind. I'll offer an edit. Phrygas (talk) 18:26, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
- Buttt opinion about the merge proposal? Lectrician1 (talk) 22:45, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
- I think the merge is a good idea. Peter F. Patel-Schneider (talk) 18:01, 16 January 2024 (UTC)

edit"A class can be defined either by extension (specifying members), or by intension (specifying conditions), using what is called in some ontology languages like OWL."
Delete the phrase beginning with "using" - it makes no sense as written and it has no discernable intent to suggest a correction. 100.16.56.52 (talk) 12:48, 16 June 2024 (UTC)
