This article should be merged into Mackay, Queensland at least until there is sufficient information to warrant a separate article. WikiTownsvillian 03:37, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
- There is plenty of information. All it takes is someone with the time and inclination. I think it should be kept and tagged for expansion. LGAs are notable in their own right. -- Mattinbgn/ talk 11:19, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
- Fair enough. Hope someone does expand it because it's pretty poor at the moment. WikiTownsvillian 11:31, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
- 90% of the articles in Category:Local Government Areas of Queensland are much the same quality. With the Local Government boundary review in Queensland, it is likely that most will not have the chance to be improved before they are abolished. We will then be left with the decision to keep the articles as a historic record of a former LGA or amalgamate the articles on the same lines as the real world amalagamtions. Fortunately, Mackay should be pretty safe. -- Mattinbgn/ talk 12:27, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
- Indeed, it will probably be expanded to include what is now Sarina Shire Council and Mirani Shire Council, but let's see. WikiTownsvillian 15:32, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
