Hi! I have just added some small components on this wiki page, including incorporating a bit more general information in the introduction in order for readers to understand the frog a bit better prior to jumping into the details. I also added a bit more information under the Mutualisms section to clarify how the relationship between the tarantula and this frog has been observed Carolinaalisio (talk) 02:35, 19 October 2022 (UTC)

Nicely done! I didn’t have much to edit except for a typo. I also moved protective coloration and behavior under the enemies category as I thought it was worthy of this defensive heading in the context of predation. There was not much to add as the sources were also well layed out and described.

It is clear the dotted humming frog greatly benefits from this relationship, as the tarantula provides the frog protection from predators, a stable food source due to the frog’s ability to feed off the remnants of the spider’s prey, and shelter to protect from climate changes. Behavioral Ecology Peer Review

This is a really good article! One thing I changed is the description of the mutualistic behavior of the dotted humming frog with the burrowing tarantula Xenesthis immanis. While this information is interesting and should be included in the article, I don’t think it should take up the majority of the overview and description. I moved it down to the section titled “Mutualisms”, as it already discussed the frog and tarantula relationship. I also edited the wording to make it flow with the existing section better. I went through and fixed some of the grammar and reworded some of the text to make it flow better. The sections I most heavily changed were the “reproduction and life cycle” , “mating” , and “mutualism” sections. One thing that I thought could be added was in your enemies section. You discuss the numerous species that pose a threat to the frog, however I think it could be interesting if you included how the tarntula protects the frog from these predators since you discuss the tarantula and frog relationship so heavily earlier in the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:6C40:200:561:10CC:9B94:1317:D428 (talk) 00:20, 24 October 2022 (UTC)
