Princess? edit

Since when did the Emperor of Britannia have a sex-change operation?

Article name change edit

We know his real name, but why are we still calling the article name Emperor of Britannia? (75.157.190.68 (talk) 18:43, 7 April 2008 (UTC))Reply

Probably because it's not said in the anime since the start of R2. Ominae (talk) 08:24, 10 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Geass edit

Someone can probably phrase this better than me:

"however it is unknown at this time what its abilities may be, or if the scene in question is official canon or not."

OP's are not exactly canon, after all.68.238.83.27 (talk) 02:15, 12 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

We already know he has the Geass from episode two as well as at least one if not all of its powers ReshenKusaga (talk) 23:38, 13 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

learn to read dates. i said that before the episode came out. now that i've seen it this is invalid.68.238.83.27 (talk) 00:51, 14 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Di with the big 'D' edit

Shouldn't the article name be 'Charles Di Britannia' instead of 'Charles di Britannia'

For some reason this page was moved BACK to use a lower case "d" even though all of the Britannian articles use an uppercase letter for the middle name. —Preceding unsigned comment added by The one092001 (talkcontribs) 06:04, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

"Emperor seems to be aware..." original research? edit

"Although the series has left this ambiguous, the Emperor seems to be somehow aware of major events concerning Lelouch without being informed of them, especially those related to the Geass."

The only thing that barely come close to support the statement is the scene in R2 where Suzaku brings forth Lelouch. But regardless of whether the above quoted theory is true or not, Suzaku must have reported about Lelouch and the Geass to the Emperor before the meeting happened (you don't just randomly drag a super-power wielding prisoner to a private meeting with your Emperor without telling him about it beforehand). Thus I believe the quoted passage is original research that lacks direct evidence from the show. -71.198.1.238 (talk) 20:44, 29 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi there, I'd like to introduce you to something called SEASON ONE where the Emperor was LAUGHING when Lelouch's Geass went permanent 71.182.101.234 (talk) 00:28, 10 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Suggestion edit

This article has very little real-world information, and not even that much in-universe information at all. Therefore I believe it is best to merge it into List of Code Geass characters unless someone can help me find stuff like his concept/creation, reception by the media, impact, and such.

Perhaps someone could find out if this Emperor Charles is the Geass Universe incarnation of Prince Charles -Kashcubed (talk) 20:37, 8 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

They are not related, since the current Britannian Royal Family is NOT the current Royal Family that exists in real-world Britain. After their exile to the Americas, Queen Elizabeth III gave the throne to her lover Ricardo Von Britannia. Thus, the current royal family is different and Prince Charles was never a prince. It is possible that he was born elsewhere to the family that would have been the British Royal Family in the real world, but this Emperor Charles is clearly not the Prince Charles that exists in real life. the_one092001 (talk) 21:59, 29 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
