• The Mother of God, Lord Rama, deserves her page. The child Rama, when he was brought into the Hall where Dasaratha, Kausalya and Vasishta were together, touched the feet of Kausalya first, of Dasaratha next and of Vasishta last - thereby demonstrating that it was aware of the ancient discipline: "Revere the mother as God, revere the father as God; revere the preceptor as God". Kambhunara

Kambhunara , according to Hindu mythology , was the general of the vanar Lord Sugreeva. He killed many rakshasas of Rvana's army.He was a good friend of Mandara Devi, the vanara goddess.
