Untitled edit

Doesn't this seem more like an advertisement than reference information provided in an unbiased form? 72.54.27.234 (talk) 21:07, 28 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

I agree this is an advertisement and should be flagged as such Phuggins (talk) 23:38, 29 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

I absolutely agree, and have been attempting to 'de-advertise' the page. --WillJeck (talk) 14:59, 31 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

I also agree. The general tone of the page needs neutralization. The "Conclusion" section could be removed as well. Kmcallenberg (talk) 20:42, 12 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

I tried to de-advertise even more.Musikutiv (talk) 12:47, 30 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

  • This page must have been heavily edited because I don't read this as an advertisement at all. It is a very good description of a generic and effective molecular biology protocol. I found it very useful. MBCF (talk) 04:07, 5 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
    • Shouldn't the warning be deleted? MBCF (talk) 04:11, 5 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • I disagree that this page is written like an advertisement in its present form. If everyone agrees then we should remove the advertisement flag. 169.230.243.40 (talk) 06:33, 9 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
    • Unanimous, I just deleted it. MBCF (talk) 23:56, 9 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Should there be a warning about the warning about the case of the title? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jm1234567890 (talkcontribs) 21:31, 5 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

First sentence edit

The first sentence doesn't tell what kind of thing ChIP-sequencing actually is. E.g., if it is it a method, I would suggest the following: "ChIP-sequencing, also known as ChIP-seq, is a method used to analyze protein interactions with DNA." --213.185.142.197 (talk) 00:14, 24 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

New information added edit

As part of the UPF Bioinformatics Viquiprojecte, we have translated the ChIP sequencing article from English into Catalan. One of the changes we have made is adding a quality control section where two important calculations for assessing the data obtained in a ChIP-seq are cited. We thought it would be worth adding it to the original article. We have also added some new references. We hope you find it useful. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MariamNeusg (talkcontribs) 17:42, 19 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
