Cathay De Grande edit

I would like to add that I booked shows at the Cathay De Grande for several years.I was paid $200. a week and half of the door. I took over after English frank quit around1984. I worked there for several years. I also took over a comedy show that was not doing well and started to bring in quite a crowd. It was called El Duce's Cold Seat and it could be seen on Wednesday's. I was begining to get good reviews from the Los Angeles Weekly, aka L.A. Weekly. Sincerely, Candace D'andrea

Incorrect? edit

The listing for the last show is incorrect. I played that night, last performers were Pete Weiss drums, Tree on viola, and Zander Schloss on guitar performing The Germs 'Shut Down', other performers included John Doe, Gil T, The Alvin Brothers, Thelonious Monster and many more but none who are cited in article. Although Mentors and Jerks might have been there, this was the 80's after all.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Dthomsen8 (talkcontribs) 07:12, 21 March 2015(UTC)
