examples edit

If possible we should add examples from other languages besides English, especially one that has distinct series of cataphoric and anaphoric pronouns (if such exist?). --Jim Henry 21:53, 14 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

In the example "After squaring both sides, we arrive at the following:  ", does   actually have an interesting root, or would it just be √( )? I've been working on this for a while, to no avail. -- 184.77.6.174 (talk) 16:19, 6 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

title/conflict edit

I propose we move Cataphora (linguistics) back to Cataphora and move this stub about the company to Cataphora, Inc.. As far as I can tell there was no discussion about the first move. All of the articles that link here are talking about linguistics. --Jim Henry 17:02, 16 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Cataphora, Inc. was tagged for speedy deletion per G11, and I have deleted the article accordingly. I have also removed the dablink on Cataphora. Nishkid64 00:48, 14 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Eats, shoots & leaves edit

"He's my boyfriend, Steve" or "He's my boyfriend Steve"? One suggests that the speaker is talking to Steve, the other that the speaker's boyfriend is Steve. - Tiswas(t/c) 16:43, 19 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Cataphora, the company edit

Cataphora (http://www.cataphora.com/) is also a company specializing in "software for monitoring and analyzing personal and organizational behavior patterns". Shouldn't that be mentioned somewhere? 79.200.95.214 (talk) 21:56, 31 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

If the company has some relevance, it should have its own page in Wikipedia, but it shouldn't be mentioned in this page, except with a OtherUses template. Jotamar (talk) 15:25, 14 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
