The whole first bullet is very suspect. "Kranjci" would be called "Carniolans" in English, not "Carinthians", and there is at present definitely no "ethnic group" called that. Before 1848, the term "Kranjci" was frequently used to mean "Slovenians". It's not even much used as a regional designation anymore - it's been mostly supplanted by "Dolenjci", "Gorenjci" and "Notranjci" (Upper Carniolans, Lower Carniolans and Inner Carniolans).

I think that this page should be deleted (possibly redirected to Carinthia). I'll wait a couple of days for possible citation of sources, though. Zocky 23:36, 31 May 2004 (UTC)Reply
