I am on the public affairs team at CarMax and wanted to bring the following incorrect and/or outdated information to your attention and consideration for updating. My proposed edits are as follows: 1.) The Revenue, Operating income, and Net income provided on the Wikipedia page is as of Fiscal Year 2015 (Not “FY2014” as stated on Wikipedia page) a. Wikipedia may confirm the accuracy of this information from the following public site: http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20150402005506/en/CarMax-Reports-Record-Fourth-Quarter-Fiscal-Year#.VcOS_U1VhBw 2.) The number of employees provided on the Wikipedia page is listed as approximately 12,000 as of 2005. Update: As of 2014, the number of employees is nearly 20,000. a. Within the “Concept” section, Wikipedia states that CarMax operated 100 stores as of February 26, 2009. Update: CarMax operated 146 superstores as of April 2015. a. Within the “Concept” section, Wikipedia states that CarMax sold 345,465 used cars as of February 28, 2009. Update: During the twelve months ended February 28, 2015, the company retailed 582,282 used vehicles. a. Please remove the hyperlink on the wikipedia reference to Bill Nash, the current president and future CEO of CarMax. The hyperlink is not correct, as it links to a write-up on William L.
