Correct info on discovery

edit

Hi there,

I work for the Cango caves and have notived that the actual discovery of the cave and the forming thereof is pretty incorrect. Please advise as how I can go about giving the correct info.

Welcome to Wikipedia, Docmouton! You're always free to edit the article yourself, so if you think something is wrong, you can simply change it to the correct information.
However, I should warn you that Wikipedians care a lot about verifiability, and in this case it looks like this article currently cites some sources (a journal article and several books), that are supposed to back up the current information. Before changing it, you should look up those sources and see if they really contain information you believe is incorrect. (It's also possible they're being misinterpreted, or that this article simply disagrees with them. The only way to find out is to look them up.) If you still think this article is wrong, you should find some reliable sources giving the correct info, and then cite those sources in this article.
Let me know if you need help doing any of this, and good luck! —Keenan Pepper 17:07, 24 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
