Cal Currently
Just wondering if there's anything on him lately, healthwise I guess. Today I saw my first Worthington Ford (Long Beach) commercial without Cal being the one talking about the prices and great deals. User:Anonymous 10:59, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
As of Oct 28,2007 I saw a commercial on KCAL9 TV that featured Worthington himself. I changed the paragraph to read that some new commercials no longer feature Cal, as it appears he has made a comeback. I also removed a statement added in the article that stated something to the order of "Well, I saw a commercial with Cal on Oct 21." (75.50.101.192 06:43, 29 October 2007 (UTC))

birthplace
The NY Times obit says he was born in Bly, OK, and that that town no longer exists. The wikipedia entry on Shidler says it wasn't founded until 1921, and CW was born in 1920, so he certainly was not born there, though he might have been born on land that is currently part of Shidler. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.104.33.211 (talk) 23:47, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
Inadequate references

As of 9/14/13, the entire section concerning his record in WW2 in unsourced and should therefore be deleted.
