Since the notability tag, I have added some secondary sources, some of which I think are particularly authoritative.

This CAST is cited in descriptions of DO-178's processes such as those sources where the DO-178's distinct jargony concept of high and low requirements are insufficiently defined even in Rev C.

The other core aspect of CAST-15 to expand on is White & Reza's thesis of stakeholders and how there are important distinct assurance activities that can get lost with a merging. This approach would give an "outsider's" perspective to the CAST's content.
