Talk:Brief (law)

about that? If so, brief (design) would probably be an appropriate title, and then we can figure out how best to make a disambiguation page for the term "brief." Postdlf 20:12, 29 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

I'm working on a legal brief for school, but I don't know how to start it.

you need to begin with a big idea....was stuck myself for a few days...but was able to brreak the ice with an idea that challenged the juris of the court....will let you know how that worked out....whosegow —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.46.184.238 (talk) 04:44, 10 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

The section of this page describing the "brief bag" is, rather humerously might I add, plagarized directly from the 1911 Encyclopedia Britanica linked at the bottom. Not sure how to flag this, but doggone it that doesn't belong on Wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jameslightell (talkcontribs) 14:41, 18 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Brief vs motion edit

I read here (on the right) that one should distinguish brief from motion, so perhaps we should make it clear in the two relevant articles (Brief (law) cites "motions" but I'm not sure whether, in this context, it should be wikified to Motion (legal).
