I have just done a complete edit of the article with a rewrite for style/wording and objectivity. I have removed subjective and irrelvant information especially in regards to overdevelopment. Whilst I agree it is sad that many fine and grand Victorian and Edwardian buildings have been demolished for flats and blocks of a less than appealing style, wikipedia is an encyclopedia not a web blog and any information on the subject should be concise and as objective as possible.
