Updating

I am trying to update his page with more information but certainly Brandon is a well known poker player with good results and is deserving of being mentioned. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Beaniepoker (talkcontribs)

who?

As it is now, it is a single line, with no info, no references. you need to add the HANGON tag in the main article. See the delete tag on the page for howto. As a side note, "deserves" isnt an arguement, policy is. Pharmboy 16:12, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

Brandon appears on High Stakes Poker season 4 and plays in some of the biggest games at the Bellagio. There are many famous poker players that have never won a tournament. I am adding a reference to Brandon's inclusion to High Stakes Poker Season 4 and Brandon was recently named a friend of Full Tilt, an honor that many poker players would covet.

Anyone who says "who is Brandon Adams" is not very familiar with poker and poker players. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Beaniepoker (talkcontribs)

I have added more sources and information about Brandon's poker accomplishments. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Beaniepoker (talkcontribs)

Please sign your comments using four ~ marks, which will add your name/date/time. Makes it much clearer who is saying what to who. As to "who", I catch poker on tv about once a week, never heard of him. That is NOT the issue and has exactly ZERO bearing on why it was tagged. The issue is wikipedia policy. You really need to actually read it and use that as the basis for arguement, not "he deserves" or "you must not watch poker", as those are not legitimate arguements for keeping an article here. "Deserves" is not a valid arguement either, as that is subjective. Here is one good place to start.

I don't have a horse in this race, so I don't care if we keep or not, AS LONG AS the article meets criteria. Pharmboy 20:42, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

Reverted to tag

No HANGON is needed, but either the article needs to be changed to remove the initial reason the tag was placed (better verification and references) or it tends to go to afd. I referted removal of tag by IP address user. I am always suspicious of any "article" that consists of a couple sentences and links, as they says a lot about how 'unnotable' someone is.
