The force production of Brachialis relative to Biceps Brachii

The article claims that Brachialis produces 50% more force than Biceps Brachii. A secondary citation is provided to Saladin Anatomy & Physiology. However, the Saladan A&P textbook gives no source for this claim. I have attempted to search Google Scholar to find verification for this claim and have been unsuccessful which leads me to suspect that the claim may be untrue or unverified. excuse me, the "teichmann muscle?"

"the teichmann muscle" is not a notable name for the brachialis muscle for it to be in the actual opening text of this articles. ive literally never heard of this name before today, and it is most assuredly not notable, or a hoax. if it's not a hoax, and has some notability to it, it should be moved to an "alternate names" section with information about why that name is there.

also, just a side note, i think it's really weird, absurd even, that we name anatomical body parts *after people*. i don't particularly care to honor some dude who first cut up cadavers and identified each little miniscule part in my body by literally naming body parts after them. it's just... creepy to me. we've had these parts for hundreds of thousands, millions of years, and it just seems like a ridiculous farce to give some special credit to a person just cuz they were the first person

i havent found *any* sources so far that give credit to it actually being *called* the teichmann muscle, all the references i find that mention it have a simple "also called the teichmann muscle" regurgitation at the beginning and just move on.

why is this part of the muscles name? why is this an alternative name?

does anyone, anybody, any doctor, and patient, any physical therapist, anatomist, or other care worker call this thing the flippin "Teichmann Muscle"?

as a matter of fact. Teichman was the doctor in Czechia who experimented extensively with the aforementioned muscle generating almost superior strength by stimulating the muscle with external and chemical stimuli. the Muscle was renamed after him when his results were recognized by the european mendical community. 2A01:6500:A041:536:A2FF:CA65:3500:C25C (talk) 19:32, 17 October 2023 (UTC)
