already in the 80's edit
The article says 2009 is the start of this trend but this is wrong. Watch any 80's teen movie and you can see girls wearing the boyfriend look all over the place! Oh, and "rolling up the sleeves makes you look more feminine" is also wrong! Men and women alike did roll up their sleeves in the 80's. So if that was the origin of the boyfriend look , it was either unisex or made the girls more masculine. 93.219.163.80 (talk) 13:07, 22 May 2011 (UTC)
My God, this "article" is a disaster edit
Either some editor has no concept whatsoever of how a Wikipedia article should be written or, more likely, this piece is a major copyvio ripped from some article found online. Normally I would suggest some starting place for edits, but I have to think that the best course of action would be to erase all of the current article and start over completely. Having come to this article because I don't know what "boyfriend jeans" are, I cannot in good conscience recommend myself as the person to start afresh.
