Kronnji mentioned as settlement close(st) to the site edit

It's surprising that the centre of the Blue Eye spring [[1]] is located 1.06km from the centre of Krongji (no wonder the closest parking place is located next to the first dwellings of Krongji & the church). On the other hand Muzine appears 1,88kms far. By car the distance is a 6.3lkm drive to Muzine and just 3.0km to Krongji. The current coordinates need also to be corrected (they point... next to the souvenir store).Alexikoua (talk) 00:53, 28 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Le Blue Eye se situe un peu à l'ouest du village de Muzinë, mais on y accÚde par la route reliant Saranda à Gjirokaster, depuis le village de Krongji, situé à l'ouest du site. As such inclusion of Krongji is warranted, not to mention several other sources that mention Krongji and not Muzine as closest settlement ([[2]][[3]]). Also the introduction in various sites begins in a similar way, for example: The Blue Eye water spring (Syri i Kalter) is located near Saranda-Delvina-Gjirokastra national roar, two km away from the place known as Dhrovjani salt mine on the other side of Krongji Village. [[4]]. Alexikoua (talk) 01:05, 28 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
All the sources I checked link it with Muzine, not with Krongji [5][6][7][8]. Krongji is nearby but the spring is considered to be part of the Muzine village. Even Rama says that [9]. Ktrimi991 (talk) 01:18, 28 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
The official website of the Albanian government says the same thing [10]. The spring's park is part of the Muzine village [11]. Ktrimi991 (talk) 01:22, 28 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
Several sites point to Kronji [[12]][[13] [[14]][[15]][[16]][[17]] (+googlemaps), although not all sites consider it territory of Muzine (even if Rama had a different opinion I'm afraid it's not an argument for the removal of Krongji though). There should be definitely a mention about this village; that B.Eye is located between those two villages. Another essential addition is that the site can be accessed by car only through Krongji.Alexikoua (talk) 01:27, 28 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
Can you please elaborate what you mean that this is in the "territory of Muzine"? (I tought that national parks don't belong to any nearby settlements). I just saw that Blue Eye is located slighly closer to another village while googlemaps + several sources above confirm this statement. There may be not a universal agreement on which settlement is closer tought. So, are you fine by saying that B.E. is located between those two villages?Alexikoua (talk) 01:47, 28 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
Rama does not have a "different opinion", the spring is part of the territory of Muzine. Just like a country has its administrative territory, cities and villages have their own - at least in Albania. What some sources which are not specializing in Albanian geography say could not be less important: the official ones decide which village the spring belongs to. Ktrimi991 (talk) 11:38, 28 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
Btw, Krongj in Albanian means "place near a spring" i.e. the Blue Eye spring. Ktrimi991 (talk) 11:50, 28 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
You need to provide a reference that this national park belongs to this village. You understand that simply claiming something falls into wp:OR. National parks have their own administrative body which is not dependent to nearby villages. Alexikoua (talk) 21:44, 28 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
I provided it above. Read it. Ktrimi991 (talk) 21:56, 28 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
This is the officially declared administrative area of the national park [[18]]: No nearby vlilages are part of this protected area. Even if we accept that B.E. is the only exception as a protected area in terms of administration this does no provide a valid argument for the removal of Krongj as the only accesible way to reach B.E. by car. [[19]] Blue Eye Spring, Location: Krongji... near Muzinë. Am I wrong?Alexikoua (talk) 22:10, 28 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
The village is not part of the national park, the spring is part of the village's territory. "Showcaves" and many other websites that are not specializing in Albanian geography might say many things, what matters in this case is official administrative sources and academic sources specializing in Albanian geography. And I am not responding further: open an RfC if you want to proceed. I do not see any reason why to waste more time on such a trivial detail. I have actually posted here more than I should have.
