I think something should be added to the article about how Blue Board changed the entire nature of BBSing. Before Blue Hell BBS, BBSes were technically oriented. Posts were about computers. Blue Hell changed BBSing into a social behavior and Blue Board was tailor-made for that shift. Also, the Decline in Popularity section should reflect this. Blue Boards fell out of favor because of the development of ddial, STS and MajorBBS multi-line chat boards which took over from Blue Board as the chief means of socializing with a modem. Single-line boards attracted nothing but cobwebs after that regardless of whether they were run on newer 16bit machines. 300bps ddial flourished on its 8bit Apple // platform for years even as single-line PC boards with 14.4k modems and big hard drives were relegated to rarely-used repositories of shareware.
Thanks to whoever made the edit to include my suggestions above. As Tony Danza might say: "OA, AO, you're a fine chap, man!"
