About Italy edit

I'm sorry to inform you that in Italy we (yes, I'm Italian) firstly learn how to write in block letters and later (after 1-2 years) it is introduced the cursive way of writing. First grade schools teach how to write in block since the first year (when children are 6 years old) and they switch to cursive during the second/third year(children are 7-8 years old). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.51.83.152 (talk) 18:02, 6 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Speculation: edit

It occurred to me that the term "block letters" might refer to the letters as formed on children's building blocks. Any basis for this? EDC105 (talk) 10:31, 1 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

I'd call those "letter block letters" --Benimation (talk) 18:11, 26 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Since I'm not sure I understand what the term "block letters" actually means, I'd like someone who does — to please pick the best from above (or make their own) and put them in the article. Thank you, •ː• 3ICE •ː• 14:21, 26 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
