Talk:Blipfoto

Latest comment: 7 years ago by InternetArchiveBot in topic External links modified

The article comes across as quite clearly having a favourable attitude towards blipfoto, and also has somewhat of a story telling writing style. For example, "In October 2004, Blipfoto founder Joe Tree spent a few hours on a rainy Sunday afternoon building a simple website which let him publish just one photo a day on the internet and write something about it. He set himself two simple rules: he could only upload one picture a day, and it had to be taken on that day." This reads more like a novel than a Wikipedia article. Following this sentence is a long list of awards and achievements, which are obviously reasonable things to be mentioned, but without any other solid historical content it reads more like an advertisement than a neutral history.
