Talk:Black Ranger

Latest comment: 15 years ago by Montana's Defender

There is very rarely a Black Ranger and a Green Ranger in the same series, the exceptions being MMPR and RPM. Like the Green Ranger, there has never been a female Black Ranger. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Montana's Defender (talkcontribs) 02:00, 21 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Will Aton

edit

Since everyone's up in arms about another "black" ranger, how should this be addressed in the introduction? D4S 05:36, 7 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Not at all. It's not culturally important that Will has dark skin and he's the Black Ranger.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 05:48, 7 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
This article will obviously contradict itself if it stays "Some people considered a Black Ranger of African descent racist. This is why there has not been an African American Black Ranger since Zack" without some sort of change. (although the actor isn't American, it still needs to be made clear.) It's not important unless it's pointed out by a secondary source. If VH1 makes a special about the new Power Rangers, and they bring up the fact that Samuell Benta is black, then we can mention it here. The fact of the matter is that we need information that is verifiable and not original to WikipediaRyūlóng (竜龍) 06:21, 7 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
Well, looking at the number of reverts lately with no end in sight, something should be done about the intro. D4S 15:34, 12 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Shadow Ranger

edit

Is Cruger considered a Black Ranger? I know his designation is Shadow, but sometimes "special" rangers have names independant of color (like how the Quantum Ranger is considered a Red Ranger). I'm not clear on the matter though, so I don't want to add him just yet without a second opinion. Onikage725 01:45, 15 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
