I am not sure that the graph of vote changes in Berwickshire seats is helpful or meaningful here. The seats Berwickshire has been in since 1983 have a much more Liberal/Conservative tradition the Berwick and East Lothian did throughout its existence when it was Labour a Conservative marginal and more of the seat is in the modern East Lothian (which is usually considered the successor seat) than is in the current seat of Berwickshire, Roxburgh and Selkirk.
