The article has a fair number of problems. I would propose a fairly major re-write and renaming.

As I read it, according to the web site of this organization and the NYC ACS, this agency is entirely separate from the government of the City of New York. The only relationship is a ongoing contractual one, but it is certainly not exclusive for either party. According to http://www.nyc.gov/html/acs/downloads/pdf/contracts/PREVENTIVE_ASSIGNMENTS_SEPT2011.pdf ,Berkshire has a small part in preventative programs for the Bronx.
The name should be changed to Berkshire Farm Center and Services for Youth, since that is the current name. Berkshire Industrial Farm was the name from 1894-1959.
The article seems promotional in tone and should be rewritten to be more neutral.
More sources need to be found.

Well, nearly the whole article looks like a copyvio from 2006. That is a bummer. If the remaining refs can reveal anything, it might be saved, otherwise its tiny stub time or goodbye, article.--Arg342 (talk) 01:51, 14 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

I agree that this wikipedia article's name should be changed to Berkshire Farm Center and Services for Youth since that is Berkshire Industrial Farm's current name and has been since 1974. 63.247.160.139 (talk) 18:15, 18 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

It is in Canaan, New York. The organization's website gives the details: [1]. The article had to get almost blanked due to a copyright violation. I am trying to get back to re-write this, but haven't found the time lately... --Arg342 (talk) 21:10, 6 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
