This is for future expansion:

Some 70 villages ("casuales") were given by various barons and kings as a fief to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in the 12th century, during the Crusader era. All the villages were between Jerusalem and Nablus, or just north of Nablus. One of these villages was called Betheflori. Röhricht first suggested that Betheflori was Beit Far, just west of Jerusalem.^[1] However, Conder thought that Betheflori was Beit Furik.^[2] Röhricht later seem to have accepted the identification of Beit Furik with Betheflori.^[3]
