Just some thoughts from myself edit

I've created this draft article since I think it has enough information, notability (used on trains, buses, ferries through in 10 regions of New Zealand except Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch; edited 05:45, 21 May 2023 (UTC)) and varied (primary and secondary) references to warrant its own article separate to the National Ticketing Solution which would become very cluttered if all of this information was solely on that article (and that article isn't really about the Bee card anyways, it's about the wider national system that's due to implemented by 2026). There already are Wikipedia articles on the AT HOP card and Snapper card, so why not the Bee card? Also note that some references have been date accessed as from 2021 because I've had this article in my sandbox and started writing around that time. Fork99 (talk) 22:22, 19 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Also, I placed a link to a potential image for the infobox of a Bee card. however I don't have my own example (since I haven't been to New Zealand since 2020), and I would imagine using the official logo from the website isn't as good as seeing a physical example, please consider uploading a photo of a Bee card if you have one. Note: used a comparison image that has a BUSIT card next to a Bee Card. Fork99 (talk) 03:56, 27 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

To do list: Add wikilinks for Public transport in New Plymouth, Public transport in Invercargill, Public transport in Waikato, Public transport in Dunedin somewhere in article. Note the other cities and regions don’t have dedicated public transport articles, and get a brief mention at Public_transport_in_New_Zealand#Other_areas Fork99 (talk) 05:45, 21 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Note: added a “see also” section. Fork99 (talk) 03:55, 27 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Capital 'C' for 'Card' edit

If the proper name is 'Bee Card', not 'Bee', then the article title should include a capital 'C'. Nurg (talk) 08:31, 20 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Personally I would prefer a capital C, however from what I’ve observed, most if not all public transport card articles have a lowercase c. See go card, Opal card, Compass card (British Columbia), Oyster card, AT HOP card, Octopus card, Snapper card, ORCA card, etc. But you might be right, their website does use “Bee Card” rather than “Bee card” and there might be a Wikipedia policy that prefers one or another, but I’m not too sure. Other public transport card and similar card articles are a mix of capitalised 'Card' and uncapitalised 'card'. It depends on the usage for the particular card. I haven't looked thoroughly, but based on a quick look, most sources use 'Bee Card'. Nurg (talk) 02:02, 22 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
