Before 1974?

edit

So which constituencies covered this area before 1974? — OwenBlacker (Talk) 15:31, 7 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

See South Buckinghamshire (UK Parliament constituency). I am not sure if this is the whole answer, as I am typing this without access to my reference books, but the town of Beaconsfield was in South Buckinghamshire. --Gary J (talk) 15:59, 7 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
The local government areas in the 1974 Beaconsfield constituency were Beaconsfield Urban District, Eton Rural District and part of Wycombe Rural District. In the 1950-74 period Beaconsfield UD and Eton RD were combined with a part of Amersham RD, in the South Buckinghamshire constituency. The whole of Wycombe RD was then part of the Wycombe seat. --Gary J (talk) 18:42, 7 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
