  Done
  • between Vigla and Toufekistra hills Too precise since readers won't have a clue where those are. Perhaps Epirus with a link?
  Done
  • Capitalize Battle of Driskos throughout as it's a proper name
  Done
  • There's a lot of extraneous material in the third and fourth paras in the Background section
Shortened them to one paragraph.--Catlemur (talk) 16:54, 6 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
  • Is there a link for the Greek Diaspora?
  Done
  • What's a rear guard battalion?
  • Many of the defenders who numbered some 600 soldiers and 2 artillery pieces awkward

  • Link Cretan, batteries
  Done

Changed to "moving".--Catlemur (talk) 09:27, 6 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
  • On 28 November, the Ottomans launched another attack on the Heights 1078 and 1053 held by Cretan volunteers after forwarding their battery to the caravanserai of Lefkas. awkward--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 21:45, 5 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
What would be a more appropriate phrasing? Heights 1078 and 1053 are specifically mentioned in the Greek official history of the war.--Catlemur (talk) 16:54, 6 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
A couple of issues here. You said "another" attack on the heights, but never mentioned them previously. Please add that. As written, it's unclear who the artillery belongs to, the Cretans or the Turks. Clear these issues up first and we can figure out how to fix the rest of the sentence.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 14:54, 7 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
Adjusted the sentence to make it more straightforward.--Catlemur (talk) 03:34, 8 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
Explain what a rear guard battalion is and we'll be done here.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 16:30, 8 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
Sturmvogel 66 The original term in the source was "τάγμα των μετόπισθεν" which can mean different things so its hard to translate. So I amended it to rear area protection battalion given the context.--Catlemur (talk) 17:13, 9 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
