• Very nice article. Just one question:

When you say "New York authorities", who do you mean?

Governor Clinton appeared to be the prime mover in successfully getting authorization to use Continental forces (this is mentioned in the body). I've reworded the bit in the lead. Magic♪piano 14:35, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
