Bodycon dress and bandage dress: same thing? ... No. edit

Are these synonyms? Bodycon redirects to this article, but the three pictures of the same bodycon dress on the commons does not appear to be a bandage dress. The etymology of the bandage dress is obvious (although the history of who used the term first and why would be good to find evidence of), but that of bodycon will need a source. —Geekdiva (talk) 07:57, 21 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Update: I checked Wiktionary and no, they are not the same thing. Wiktionary has an etymology for the adjective wikt:bodycon from the Japanese, but only quotes for wikt:bandage dress. I added this Commons image to wikt:bodycon that could be used in a Bodycon WP article, but a quick search didn't turn up a free image for bandage dress. —Geekdiva (talk) 09:44, 24 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for this. I've created a new stub for bodycon dress and linked the bandage dress as an example. - Bilby (talk) 06:34, 4 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
