All right. I will do a preliminary review before undergoing a full review.
First of all, the lead section looks good so far. It may need to summarize the creation of the character itself though. Also, there may be some inconsistent date formats as well. Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 05:10, 6 April 2013 (UTC)

- But how do we know which one came first (Basch or Balthier). This Balthier tidbit seems really strange to me, Edge is the only source and it's not quoted from a Square Enix official. - We don't know what Edge is referring to, but we know for sure that Hiroshi Minagawa said Basch and made no mention of Balthier. I don't know what we should do really. Jonathan Hardin' (talk) 21:27, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
