Article Title

The title of this is pretty tautologous. Both Western Samoa and American Samoa constitute Samoa, just as NI and the Republic make up Ireland.--MacRusgail (talk) 13:05, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

The article started life with one and a redirect from the other; it was changed. Part of the ambiguity is from the relationship between the countries which while technically separate have a great deal of unity between them but are officially distinct. I'd welcome any thoughts on making it better.--Smkolins (talk) 15:33, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

I agree that the title is long and awkward. I think Baha'i Faith in Samoa is fine and can mean either part of the island group. "Samoan Islands" would also be appropriate. The opening sentence should be simpler. The MOS may give advice on this, but I feel the current wording is cumbersome. The defining sentence need not begin the historical background of the Baha'i Faith in Samoa. - Parsa (talk) 01:33, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

A slight complication arises from the categories - Religion in Samoa | Religion in American Samoa | Bahá'í Faith by country. So "Somoa" could be confusing there as they all refer to countries.--Smkolins (talk) 02:48, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
