I'll be trying to expand this article. I'm trying to find information on the neighborhoods of Barlad (the Cartieri). I'm in Los Angeles and I don't have many sources besides people and online resources. I have been informed that there are or were the following neighborhoods: Posta (diacritical under the s) and Gura Leului, a part of Posta near the train station; Cotul Negru, Podeni and possibly Munteni. Barlad was also known for having "one of the most beautiful zoos" in the area, at Gradina Publica. Fishing was popular in the town, one of the reasons for the three fish on the Coat of Arms. Alex contributing from L.A. (talk) 01:01, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
Barlad is now part of Județul Vaslui. Before that it was part of Regiunea Iasi (in that time Barlad was second in importance after Iasi, not Vaslui). And before that Barlad was part of Județul Tutova. Alex contributing from L.A. (talk) 01:19, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
