SANDBox for AVSIG edit

Folks,

I have started a sandbox page for AVISIG. So in the next couple of weeks, we will have a proper article that the adm. will not object to. I hope. I have been on Wiki for several years, and wrote several articles and edited hundreds others, but never had a speedy deletion (I am told that is because I work them up in sandboxes first). Anyone know the rule on deletion? Is the adm. decision final? Inquiring minds want to know.

Afd edit

Unfortunately, in my view, this is article is up for deletion because an editor felt it might be eligble for deletion in accordance with Wikipedia's deletion policy. All editors are welcome to share their thoughts on the matter at this article's entry: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Aviation Special Interest Group (AVSIG)

In addition to adding my view that the article should be kept I have added some references to the article itself and added it to the deletion sorting thing to solicit a more informed audience for the debate Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Aviation.

Best wishes (Msrasnw (talk) 13:01, 13 February 2013 (UTC))Reply

Links from Other Articles edit

I added a couple of links to this article, in the CompuServe article, and in the List of Internet forums article. Is that sufficient to deal with the 'orphan' tag?--Palmpilot900 (talk) 03:27, 9 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
