Ateneo de Manila is a Catholic University and was founded in 1859 by the Society of Jesus. Its main campus is in Quezon City. Jose Rizal, Ninoy Aquino, three presidents, and a few senators are among its graduates. It offers programs at the elementary, secondary, college, graduate, and post-graduate levels in various fields such as the arts, humanities, business, law, social sciences, theology, and the pure and applied sciences. It is known for its programs in law, the humanities, business, and the social sciences.
