Urine chemisty

I'm impressed at the new information concerning urine since I last saw this page. It would be nice to see clarification of what is meant by 'young asparagus'. Asparagus is a perennial, and, I believe, usually grown for 2-3 years before harvesting, and spears are harvested early in the growth season and then left to produce foliage. Both these practices are to allow strong root systems for future crops. (Maybe modern methods are different?) Regardless of this, the spears are always 'young' in the sense of harvesting soon after emergence, as they would otherwise have opened into fern-like leaves that would please the eye but not the mouth.--Alkhowarizmi (talk) 10:17, 16 October 2021 (UTC)
