Ashvamedha
editThere should be some mention of the theory this tree's etymological origin coming from the ashwamedha sacrifice, where the name is, if I recall correctly, the sthana (place) of the horse (ashwa). Might be in winthrop sergeant's gita translation or patrick olivelle's katha upanishad translation. Iṣṭa Devatā (talk) 17:35, 16 March 2019 (UTC)
