Coat of arms edit

The coat of arms added to the infobox is of the Artigas Department. Does the city use it as its own shield? If not it should either be replaced with the correct one or removed. Hoverfish Talk 13:58, 25 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Foundation date edit

According to this source INE (PDF 246KB - see San Eugenio del Cuareim), Pueblo "San Eugenio del Cuareim" was founded on 10 July 1852 by Ley Nº 297. I am not sure how this fits in with the rest... Is there any citation for the 12 September 1852 date? Hoverfish Talk 00:54, 7 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

I see this could be a mistake of the INE. According to this article of the Spanish Wikipedia "...the law of 10 July 1852, which in its article 5° establishes: “A village will be created on the banks of Rio Cuareim at the Paso del Bautista or at Yuquerí” and the article 6° says: “The new village will be named Cuareim...”." I wish they had some citation available though. Hoverfish Talk 01:19, 7 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

About the climatic sources edit

The original cited links either contain no average annual statistics, or with unclear figures uncited. Better source of information is required. -113.28.85.253 (talk) 03:25, 6 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

I did realized that link to the official data was changed. I will change it but I cannot really find the direct url (or don't know how to do it) to the data. You have to select the tabular form of the data (click on "Tablas Estadísticas") and then click on the station name Artigas. You will see all of the monthly values (source is in Spanish though) and these will be shown in the climate box except for the record highs which is found in the second source (covers a longer period). The data is pretty reliable although the statements are not. Ssbbplayer (talk) 18:19, 7 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
