Hello, I got in touch with Jens Böcher < JJBocher@snm.ku.dk > he makes the following recommendation:

Carnivore?

This assertions seems to be coming from a poorly worded Nat'l Geographic article. Where's the citation that these eat meat and not insects? -198.187.174.15 (talk) 14:23, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

National Geographic is well known for quality articles, do you have a citation that states these spiders are not carnivores? In addition, are not all wolf spiders carnivores?? Green Squares (talk)

All spiders prey on other organisms, so inclusion at all is perhaps questionable? In any event, shouldn't the description section be limited to morphology, with dietary habits in a suitably titles section? Heds (talk) 02:43, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

Then I think reference to carnivory should be dropped, as it's not peculiar to this or any other spider or gropus there-of. Not a biggie though. Heds (talk) 23:42, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

The citation article does mention carnivore, so I don't see the harm in including it. Green Squares (talk) 11:31, 21 May 2009 (UTC)
