Updating chairman role edit

I've made a small edit to the Apostrophe Protection Society entry. The changes were to make the introductory paragraph more relevant and up to date by noting the current chairman of the Apostrophe Protection Society (myself) and moving the reference to its founder to a new second paragraph to keep the legacy information separate from the current information. This edit was reverted, with the comment that there needs to be a reference source to justify this. If you refer to the APS home page you will see that I have been the chairman of the APS since early 2022, so I trust this is sufficient confirmation. Many thanks, Bob McCalden Chairman, Apostrophe Protection Society Apostrophe Bob (talk) 09:37, 29 August 2023 (UTC) Revirvlkodlaku (talk) 14:09, 29 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Apostrophe Bob, I've started a new discussion thread based on the comment you left on my talk page, with slight modifications.
Feel free to reintroduce the edit you made yesterday, making sure to add a reference supporting the claim that Bob McCalden is the APS's new chairman. Please refer to Wikipedia:Citing sources for help with this, or else let me know if it still seems tricky. Revirvlkodlaku (talk) 14:12, 29 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for your help on this. I've now re-done the changes, citing the APS home page as reference. Apostrophe Bob (talk) 17:10, 29 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
