Contested deletion edit

This article should not be speedy deleted as lacking sufficient context to identify its subject, because... (your reason here) --SD 16:53, 31 May 2020 (UTC) This article is about a village submerged during construction of Hirakud dam.local govt does not want the public to know about this village as it was a very developed region of odisha which was submerged to protect lands of earstern region of odisha india. We would like the next generation to know about it and our sufferings.

That's as may be, but Wikipedia is not a platform for fighting social injustices etc., real or perceived. More to the point, this article violates so many fundamental WP policies, with regards to verifiability of information, avoidance of original research, etc., not to mention the style, structure and layout of the writing, that it will almost certainly be deleted soon. If you or anyone else thinks that the subject matter is notable enough to warrant an article, and that one can be written to comply with WP policies, then please feel free to do so, but this article as it stands is probably beyond rescue. PS: If you wish to contest the deletion, you should do so on the deletion discussion page, explaining your reasons with reference to established policies. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 06:08, 2 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
