Hello, I'm Calvin999 and I am reviewing this article.

Review
  • Could you not include a pronunciation guide of how to say Andrianampoinimerina after his name is mentioned at the start, like Beyoncé does after her name?
  • Added
  • How come children and spouse aren't included in the info box?
  • The exact number of wives is uncertain (it was definitely more than the commonly reported 12), and there are an uncounted number of legitimate and illegitimate children.
  • one of four continually warring principalities that emerged upon the division of the historically unified Imerina kingdom by King Andriamasinavalona a century before. → Quite long, I was nearly out of breath.
  • Reworded
  • designated a UNESCO → Shouldn't it be 'an' as two vowels shouldn't meet?
  • all Imerina, then → all Imerina and then
  • Done
  • He died after reigning for 23 years, during which time he successfully reunited → Having reigned for 23 years at the time of his death, he had successfully reunited
  • Done
  • Andrianampoinimerina had begun, and over the next two decades largely achieved Andrianampoinimerina's vision. → Repetition of Andrianampoinimerina
  • changed to "his father's vision"
  • The location of his birth in the Birth sub-section is different to that listed in the info box
  • Fixed
  • Ramboasalamarazaka was born during a period → Who is this?
  • Clarified
  • Ambohimanga remains among the most important spiritual and cultural sites in Madagascar, and was recognized as Madagascar's only cultural UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001.[23] → Chronologically, I don't think this is best suited here. I think it would be better placed in Legacy.
  • Moved to legacy section
  • Regarded as a "self-made man" who did not rely on his privileges as a prince, his independence, temperament, tenacity and sense of justice made him popular among the commoners and the slaves of Ambohimanga. → As you've used a quote, a citation should be provided really.
  • Removed the quotes - this was not literally quoted from a source (I used the quotes inappropriately to indicate a colloquialism)
  • The later half of Andrianampoinimerina's reign → The latter half of Andrianampoinimerina's reign
  • Changed
  • I'd make Death and succession section just one paragraph. I don't see the point of having two of them being single sentences.
  • Done
  • Same for the last sentence of Legacy, just tack it on to the end of the last paragraph.
  • Done
  • I've responded to all of your points above. Please let me know if you'd like to see any further changes. Many thanks for taking the time to review this. - Lemurbaby (talk) 03:40, 8 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
