Article rearrangement proposal.

Hi everyone. =] I've been thinking about the way this article is arranged recently and thought that it might need some improving. I didn't want to just go ahead and move everything around myself, so I thought it would be appropriate to show you my proposal and discuss it first. You can view my proposal at my sandbox, here. Below is a breakdown of what I have changed:

• "Appearance" sub-section has been moved and retitled to "Public image".
• "Founding" and "Lawsuit against Wind-up Records" subsections have been merged together.
• "Solo career" and "Other projects" have been merged together and retitled to "2000—2012: Early solo projects"
• "Aftermath and Indigo Grey soundtrack" has been retitled to "2013—present: Aftermath and other soundtracks" in light of Voice from the Stone soundtrack.
• "Engagement and Marriage" subsection has been merged with main "Personal life" section.

The only part I'm a bit unsure of is the lengthy "2000—2012: Early solo projects" section, but besides that, I feel my proposal gives the article a better flow and is a bit more organised. Change "Evanescence (1995—present)" section to "(1995—present) Evanescence", to keep the same format. Or change the other two Career subsections to parallel that one (a format I'd prefer here). Everything else looks fine. Go for it. Lapadite (talk) 03:37, 16 August 2015 (UTC)

Vocal Range

This Website identifies Amy Lee as a "Lyric Mezzo soprano" we have a source now and we can include her vocal range in the infobox.— _talk 16:21 30 May 2016 (UTC)

There might not be a reliable source, but isn't [ttps://youtu.be/uVoqf4YLJcs this] enough proof? Amy Lee is clearly a Mezzo-soprano and I think we should definitely include that in the infobox. And if you think the rules of wikipidia prevents you, If a rule prevents you from improving or maintaining Wikipedia, ignore it. So for this one there is no need for sources in my opinion.— _talk 00:36 31 May 2016 (UTC)

If the fact or statement is challenged or is likely to be challenged, a citation is absolutely required. So yes, consider a reliable citation as required for this one. Ignore All Rules handles a lot of situations, but backing statements with citations is a vital component of a good Wikipedia article, secondary to literally nothing. — Huntster (t @ c) 04:12, 31 May 2016 (UTC)

@Zhyar Merlin: No. A TinEye search revealed that the image was scraped from the web somewhere else. I've found it with a Getty watermark, so I don't see how we can get a sufficiently free license. —C.Fred (talk) 14:22, 5 June 2016 (UTC)

Well, I would update the external links with her IMDb profile: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1341624/ As all artists who have an IMDb profile has it on their external links. "Vocal range" sources

Hi, the YouTube sources cited for her vocal range are not good enough to support the assertions. They are of dubious copyright status and depict Lee warming up and singing various notes. There is no accurate instrument measuring the pitch of her notes. These are WP:PRIMARY sources, and so putting them together for a "vocal range" statement is WP:SYNTH and WP:OR.
