Move
Just checking in before moving to Afghani cuisine, per request. Thoughts? –Juliancolton Tropical Cyclone 23:33, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
- I've taken the liberty to move the page to "Afghanistani cuisine", per the discussion above, and to convert it to the adjectival form to match the naming style used for ethnic, regional, and national cuisines: Chinese cuisine, Italian cuisine, Thai cuisine, Swiss cuisine, French cuisine, etc. The Transhumanist 00:17, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
Of the three, Afghan, Afghani, and Afghanistani, Afghan is the most commonly used term in the English language. Kingturtle (talk) 23:27, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
Tagged: numerous problems
Unfortunately, I've had to tag the page for a re-write. The problems are many and evident: tone, style, opinion, lack of references or external sources. Rather than delete the problematic content (which would leave us with nothing) or attempt a rewrite based upon the article as it stands, I'll take this on as an improvement-project and start by identifying the main contributor (for it seems to me - judging by the tone and style - that one editor has written most of the article as it currently stands) and working with them to improve both the article and their understanding of WP. And any interested editors (especially those with a better understanding of the subject and/or WPpolicy than I - viz, lots of you) who would like to help sort this out, please do! In the meantime, please don't remove the tag - if for no other reason than I hope it prompts those editors who looked up the page to help out. Plutonium27 (talk) 00:17, 1 August 2011 (UTC)
Afghanistan is NOT a part of greater india
Whoever said afghanistan is part of greater india is an idiot. The hindu kush lies in pakistan as well as afghanistan, and the borders of india was set by the pakistani side. Afghans are white, Indians are Brown. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Metalman59 (talk • contribs) 23:52, 4 September 2011 (UTC)
Copy-editing
Altered some of the text after being invited here from the copy-editing wikiproject, and added a few citation needed tags, as we need some references. Lstanley1979 (talk) 10:48, 30 August 2014 (UTC)
