Wikipedia articles should be comprehensible by a layperson

I am a Technical Architect for an insurance company. I came to this page so that I had a reference when explaining to another Technical Architect, who is not as experienced in insurance, what one of our Product Managers meant by Affinity Marketing (our company provides Affinity versions of our core product to retailers). I found the article very clear and quoted two or three sections to my colleague, after which he understood what Affinity Marketing was, how the Product Manager was using the term and the relevance that it had to our system architecture. --217.33.191.132 (talk) 15:29, 26 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
