I once happened to see on television an adjournment debate where the Member raising the topic and two colleagues sat all in camera view and in what looked like a planned performance, after the Member had spoken for a while, an intervention was requested and granted to each of the colleagues in turn, thus in effect having three Members speaking before the Minister replied.
